Tucked into a small outdoor shopping centre, the salon bustles with women on the move, yet the environment is anything but hectic.
"We try to bring a bit of Indian culture to the salon," says Kaloti, who also did her esthetics training in Punjab.
Hindi and Punjabi pop music fills the room. Towers of chandelier-esque earrings, pashmina scarves and jewelry from India are on display.
While they do offer regular spa and salon treatments, such as hair styling and pedicures, the salon's most popular items are Indian.
